Junior Mobile Acces Engineer
Your role as Junior Mobile Access Engineer
As a Junior Mobile Access Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the planning, construction, and management of our mobile networks of the future. You will have the opportunity to gain experience in three important components of Mobile Access:
- Network Solutions: You will assist in designing and developing innovative mobile network solutions.
- Network Optimization: You will contribute to optimizing the performance and efficiency of our network.
- Build & Repair: You will support the rollout and maintenance of network components in the Netherlands.
You will work closely with a tight-knit team and contribute ideas for smart solutions. Additionally, you will interact with colleagues from other departments and actively contribute to the quality and innovation of our services.

What do you bring to us?
We are looking for an ambitious, curious, and proactive Junior Mobile Access Engineer who thrives in a dynamic, technology-driven environment.
What else we ask of you:
- You have a completed bachelor's or master's degree in: Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, Telecommunication Engineering, Wireless Communication and Sensing (track), or Embedded Systems.
- You are curious about mobile networks and telecom technology.
- You show initiative, think ahead, and seize opportunities to improve.
- You are proficient in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.

What do you get from us?

- A gross monthly salary of at least € 3,936 and a maximum of € 5,809, depending on your work experience, based on 40 hours.

- 8% holiday pay, which is usually paid out monthly, but you can choose to have it paid out in other periods.
- Annual individual and collective increase in accordance with our collective labor agreement.
- € 1500 per year in employability budget that you can use at your own discretion for training, coaching, and courses, for example.
- Flexible days off: our colleagues can decide for themselves (in consultation with the manager) how they deal with leave.
- Home workplace shop to optimally set up your workplace at home, of course with a mobile phone & laptop.
- 50% discount on our products and services, so you can internet, call, and stream affordably.
- Good travel allowance: you will be fully reimbursed for your public transport costs or € 0.23 per kilometer if you travel by car. Would you rather come by bike? Then you can claim our bicycle allowance of € 0.40 per kilometer.
- Possibility to purchase a lease bicycle where KPN contributes monthly (with a permanent contract): From city bike to e-bike and from racing bike to speed pedelec; you choose what you ride.
- Excellent pension conditions: a total contribution of 23% of your pensionable salary, of which KPN contributes 16% and you 7%.
