Your mission
You will strengthen the West regional team, active from Amsterdam throughout the Randstad (Utrecht, North Holland, South Holland, Flevoland). Our team of approximately 10 colleagues works together from tender to realization, with short lines, lots of contact, and full cooperation. You will therefore see up close how projects you help win become a reality!
With your arrival, we will increase our impact in the tender phase and take a step towards our ambitious growth. You will work on regional projects ranging from €100,000 to €15 million: from bridges and viaducts to parking garages, industrial construction, and the energy market. Our clients? Municipalities, provinces, and local private parties. Recent projects: Underpass Trekvlietbrug (The Hague), lifting bridge Oterleek (North Holland), and Walstroom Amsterdam (Port of Amsterdam).
You will have a lot of customer contact and participate in construction teams, where we jointly seek the best solution, in terms of both price and quality.
What you bring
You are structured, entrepreneurial, and think creatively. You understand clients, both internal and external, and enjoy working together. With your technical knowledge and practical experience, we can create strong proposals, whether it concerns costs, sustainability, or CO₂ reduction.
Experience in civil engineering is important. Calculation experience? A nice bonus, but not a must. Are you interested in the profession and do you enjoy working on tenders? Then we will train you internally via our calculation department.

BAM Infra Civiel realizes integral solutions for civil concrete construction. We focus on A- and N-roads, rail, inner-city constructions, replacement & renovation, high and medium voltage, and industry. For projects > €15 million, we work centrally; for regional projects up to €15 million, we work from three regions: East, West, and South.

Het sollicitatieproces bij BAM start meestal met een online sollicitatie via de website. Als je profiel aansluit, volgt binnen 1 à 2 weken een telefoontje of uitnodiging voor een kennismakingsgesprek. Daarna volgt vaak een tweede gesprek, soms gecombineerd met een meeloopdag of assessment, afhankelijk van de functie. Je krijgt doorgaans binnen enkele dagen tot een week na het gesprek terugkoppeling.
Bij BAM werk je meestal in teamverband op een projectlocatie of in de buitendienst. Afhankelijk van je rol werk je aan installaties (bijvoorbeeld in de utiliteit of woningbouw), storingen oplossen (bij onderhoudsprojecten), of toezicht houden op uitvoering (als uitvoerder). De werkdag begint vaak vroeg (tussen 07:00–08:00) en is dynamisch, met veel afstemming en soms onverwachte technische uitdagingen.
Als starter krijg je bij BAM meestal een ervaren collega als buddy of mentor. Je wordt stap voor stap ingewerkt en er is ruimte om fouten te maken en daarvan te leren. Afhankelijk van de functie is er ook een onboardingprogramma of interne opleidingstraject via BAM Learning.
Een starter in een technische functie bij BAM verdient gemiddeld tussen de €2.400 en €2.800 bruto per maand. Bij ploegendiensten of werken op onregelmatige tijden zijn er extra toeslagen. Doorgroeien in salaris is goed mogelijk, vaak al na je eerste evaluatie na 6–12 maanden.
BAM heeft projecten door heel Nederland. Veel locaties zijn goed bereikbaar met de auto; er is meestal parkeergelegenheid. Voor reizen met eigen vervoer of OV krijg je reiskostenvergoeding volgens de cao of bedrijfsregeling. Sommige functies bieden ook een leaseauto of bedrijfsbus.
Binnen BAM wordt teamwork belangrijk gevonden. De communicatie is over het algemeen open en praktisch. Vragen stellen wordt aangemoedigd en feedbackmomenten zijn onderdeel van de werkstructuur. Je wordt als starter serieus genomen en krijgt voldoende ruimte om te groeien.
Starters krijgen meestal een jaarcontract met uitzicht op vast dienstverband. Secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden zijn sterk: denk aan een goed pensioen, opleidingsbudget, en soms ook een bonusregeling of winstdeling. BAM investeert actief in persoonlijke ontwikkeling via trainingen en cursussen.
De meeste functies bij BAM zijn in dagdienst (07:00–16:00), maar bij bepaalde projecten wordt er ook in ploegendiensten gewerkt. Overwerk komt voor, vooral bij deadlines of storingen, maar wordt meestal gecompenseerd met toeslagen of tijd voor tijd. Vrij vragen is meestal goed te regelen in overleg met de planner of leidinggevende.
