Network Security Architect

As a Network Security Architect you will play a key role in designing, advising, and governing network security architecture - covering segmentation, edge security, access control, and ensuring secure connectivity across on premise and cloud environments. You will work with cross-functional teams, including the network operations team, security, compliance, and vendors, to ensure scalable, resilient, and secure network infrastructure.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing improvement of the network security architecture (firewalls, IDS/IPS, NAC, segmentation).
• Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap focused on Zero Trust architecture, network segmentation, and secure network access.
• Evaluate pen test / vulnerability scan findings; provide actionable recommendations and oversee governance of remediation.
• Define and maintain security policies, standards, and best practices for network security, especially around access control, segmentation, and secure remote/site-to-site connectivity.
• Collaborate with vendors, MSPs, and internal teams to ensure architecture is followed and that operations meet agreed SLAs for security.
• Monitor threat landscape & emerging technologies; advise on tools & processes to enhance detection, response, resilience.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory & internal security standards; contribute to audits and risk assessments.

Our client, an international company that makes sustainable solutions for several industries, is looking for a Network Security Architect. With current growth and changes in the organization, the goal is to focus more on network security related projects (such as network segmentation and the implementation of zero trust). As an Architect, you are responsible to strengthen the network security posture, lead architecture projects and align practices with industry-leading standards.

Requirements

• Several years of relevant experience in network security architecture or advanced network security consulting, especially in enterprise / global environments.
• You are experienced with Aruba networking technologies.
• Strong track record with network segmentation, Zero Trust (ZTNA / ZTME) design & implementation.
• Expertise with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, NAC, secure remote access, access control, etc.
• Familiarity with routing & switching protocols (e.g. VLANs, 802.1X, VXLAN), and secure network edge architectures.
• Knowledge of cloud-edge networking & hybrid environments. Experience in integrating network security between on-premises and cloud is a must.
• Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills - able to translate security requirements into architecture and policy.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, Aruba Certified, or similar are a plus.
