• You are responsible for gathering data from a variety of sources including sensors, productions systems and relevant application databases;
• You collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, supply chain and other stakeholders to understand their needs and prove insights for informed decision making;
• You determine and sustain data ownership, formulate and uphold quality rules, develop a data risk profiel, ensure data security and manager definitions;
• You perform statistical analyses to identify trends, patters and anomalies in the data, you generate reports and visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders and decision-makers;
• Ensure data accuracy by identifying and changing errors or inconsistencies and validating data to maintain its's quality and reliability;
• Support and training end-users on reporting tools;
• You identify opportunities where data anlysis can enhance operational efficiency or streamline processes;
• Document data analyses processes, methodologies and findings to facilitate knowledge sharing and future reference.

For a thriving and international company in the region of Middelburg we are looking for a Data Analyst, you will be part of a growing team within the company. The team currently exists out of 6 persons but have big ambitions to significantly grow over time.

As a Data Analyst you are responsible for gathering data from a variety of sources including sensors, productions systems and relevant application databases. You integrate it to create comprehensive datasets for analyses. You will be collaborating with different teams within the company, think about engineers, project managers, supply chain and more. You want to understand their data needs and you want to provide insights for them.

Furthermore you are responsible for determining and sustaining data ownership, you formulate and uphold quality rules, you develop a data risk profiel en you ensure the highest level of data security.

Dit neem je mee

• You have a completed bachelors or masters degree in computer science, information technology or a related area;
• You have at least 5 years of relevant working experience with Data analysis;
• You have experience in working with Power BI or SSAS data analysis tools;
• You have experience in data management in a large international company;
• You have an excellent understanding of the English language both written and verbal, good command of the Dutch language is a big pré;
• You have a EU citizenship and passport.

Dit krijg je

• A monthly salary between the €4.500- €6300 based on an 40 hour week (depends on your experience);
• Holiday allowance: 8,33% of your gross year salary;
• Holiday days: 25 + 13 ATV days;
• Traveling compensation: 23 cent/kilometer (maximum of € 300,- per month);
• Healthcare coverage: € 50,- per month;
