Workday Architect

We are seeking a Technology Architect with 5 to 7 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Workday Financial Management Workday Technical Reports and Workday HCM. This role involves designing and implementing technology solutions that align with our business goals. The position is hybrid and requires no travel.
Responsibilities
- Nearshore lead who leads Functional/Technical workstream for the assigned set of accounts along with onshore leads.
- Apply and implement various AMS an Implementation methodologies activities in these Workday Functional Technical engagements.
- Should collaboratively work with the Global Delivery Center team and onshore team on day to day activities incidents root cause analysis and other work requests.
- Provides on call support and holiday coverage as required.
- Deep knowledge in SLA constructs and adherence.
- Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders to create high business impact.
- Should have a guide level understanding of Workday Functional Module or Integrations.
- Knowledge of multiple Workday modules business processes security. Minimal travel required but must be willing to travel if needed.
- Comfortable with leading multiple tasks and projects simultaneously prioritize tasks optimally and thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
- Ability to ensure team delivers the project deliverables on time and do consistent timely reminders with vendors and project team
- Own the design and implementation of Workday Financial Management solutions to meet business requirements.
- Oversee the development of Workday Technical Reports to ensure accurate and timely data reporting.
- Provide technical expertise in Workday HCM to support HR processes and workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for Workday solutions.
- Ensure the security and integrity of Workday data through best practices and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Workday applications.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize Workday solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest Workday features and enhancements to recommend improvements.
- Train and mentor junior team members on Workday technical skills and best practices.
- Participate in project planning and provide technical input for project timelines and deliverables.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status and technical issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of technology processes and methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Engineering preferred or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 to 7 years of Corporate Applications portfolio experience and at least 3 to 5 years of experience in client facing roles handling led services in a global delivery model.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in Workday Functional Module or Integrations.
- Must have active Workday Certification.
- Must have years of Workday HCM related of experience as Workday HCM as Principal Consultant.
- Possess a strong background in Workday Financial Management with hands-on experience.
- Demonstrate expertise in developing and handling Workday Technical Reports.
- Have in-depth knowledge of Workday HCM and its application in HR processes.
- Experience in Finance and Accounting domain is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
