Technical Business Administration | Engineering internship: re-establishing engineering value

Introduction

The Customer Support (CS) sector ensures the maintenance, repair, and continuous improvement of ASML systems at customer locations, while supporting customers in optimizing these systems for their production processes. CS Central plays a key role by providing technical expertise and process support to field offices worldwide.

Your Assignment

• Strengthen engineering activities and drive efficiency in administrative processes.
• Create measurable value through process improvements and enhanced collaboration.
• Establish a continuous improvement loop between CS EUVV Training.
• Analyze current processes.
• Perform interviews within the engineering community and identify CS needs.
• Dive into data sources and create improvements based on analysis.
• Optimize how CS provides solutions.
• Investigate and strengthen solutions within the current ASML way of working.
• Align new processes with internal stakeholders.
• Form improvements and advise management on solution directions.

Your Profile

To be a match for internship, you:

• Are a bachelor or master student in Industrial Engineering, Technical Business Administration, Management, or a related engineering field.
• Are familiar with Lean ways of working and reducing waste.
• Are proactive and result‑oriented.
• Can work in a structured manner.
• Have good communication skills in English (verbal and written).

This is a Bachelor's or Master's internship for 4‑5 days a week with a duration of 5‑6 months. The internship is not suitable for a thesis. The start date is around February 2026.

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• You are located in the Netherlands to perform your internship; if you are currently living/studying outside the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter must include the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non‑EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
• This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such technology prior to beginning work.
