Data Science Internship: Improvement Engineering

As part of the Improvement Engineering group, you will help turn data into actionable insights that drive sustainability. Your assignment

• Collect and update enterprise data and convert it into business‑friendly formats.
• Build and maintain ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
• Communicate updated data to stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Support development of automation and machine learning solutions to enhance efficiency.
• Maintain dashboards and reports to enable continuous improvement.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

• Are enrolled in a master’s degree in AI, data science, analytics, computer science, or a related field.
• Have experience with Python and data visualization tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, Mendix or Alteryx.
• Understand ETL processes and basic machine learning concepts.
• Are analytical, proactive, and collaborative in a multicultural environment.
• Communicate effectively and enjoy working with diverse stakeholders.

Other requirements you need to meet:

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
• Attach your cover letter with a clear motivation why you are interested in this internship assignment in particular;
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. In case you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non‑EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
