Computer science internship: BI dashboard for system dynamic

The FC-032 Software team is part of ASML’s Embedded Software Development department. This group delivers software solutions that support the performance and success of ASML’s systems. As an intern, you will join the System Dynamics group, which focuses on software architecture and tools that help qualify system‑level dynamics. Your work will contribute to identifying performance disturbances and improving system diagnostics through a user‑friendly dashboard.

Your Assignment

You will help design and develop a web‑based dashboard that provides a clear and interactive overview of system dynamics data. This dashboard will support engineers in visualizing critical information and making informed decisions.

• Create a dashboard to render all data related, highlighting critical information, and providing a holistic view.
• Create a website user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
• Integrate data from various back‑end services, and render the data into charts, graphs and tables via different widgets.

This is a bachelor or vocational (thesis) internship for at least 6 months, minimum 4 days a week (2 days onsite). The start date of this internship is February 2026.

Your profile

• Are a bachelor/vocational student in Computer Science or similar.
• Have knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP and JavaScript.
• Have web programming skills and experience with web pages design/development.
• Have affinity with Agile Way of Working, Git, Python, and Next.js.
• Have great communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship; if you are currently living/studying outside the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter must include the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non‑EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
