Communication Internship: Improvement of Communication Strategy

Introduction

Customer Support (CS) ensures ASML systems customer fabs run at the highest levels of predictability and availability. CS DUV Service Engineering acts as the technical link between engineers and the central organization. Our team translates scanner performance and field issues into structural solutions and requirements for future systems. In this internship, you will help us design and implement a communication strategy that improves collaboration and efficiency. This is your chance to gain hands‑on experience in a dynamic, global environment.

Your assignment

You will work on creating a clear and effective communication approach for department. Your goal is to analyze current practices and improvements that make information sharing easier and faster.

• Analyze existing communication channels and identify gaps.
• Collaborate with engineers and communication specialists to understand needs.
• Develop strategies to improve efficiency and clarity of communication.
• Create documentation for processes and protocols.
• Support implementation of the new communication strategy.

Your profile

• Are enrolled a bachelor’s degree in communication or similar.
• Have strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Are proactive, organized, and resilient under pressure.
• Communicate clearly in English, both spoken and written.
• Enjoy working in a collaborative and international environment.

Other requirements you need to meet

• You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship.
• You need to be located in the Netherlands to perform your internship. If you are currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter must include the willingness to relocate.
• If you are a non‑EU citizen studying in the Netherlands, your university must be willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
• This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work.
