Business Economics/Finance Internship: Business Analyst Capital Efficiency

Introduction

ASML’s Capital Efficiency department manages worldwide business insights and control for invested and working capital. We do this with a team of highly professional and motivated people based in Veldhoven, Berlin and Wilton.

Your assignment

Currently we are hiring for three interns within the Capital Efficiency team. Each intern will work as a full member of the team, with end‑to‑end responsibility for reporting tasks, ad‑hoc analyses, and project support.

• Role 1: Broad scope on Working Capital, Free cash‑flow and Balance sheet control from a consolidated point of view, combining individual drivers (e.g., Inventory, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable) into coherent insights.
• Role 2: R&D Capex control internship, supporting Capex management for the D&E and Business Lines Programs, with the prospect of assisting on other Capex‑related topics and initiatives.
• Role 3: CRE internship, supporting CAPEX & OPEX management and managing the CRE Improvements Roadmap with the team.

This is a Bachelor/Master internship with a minimum duration of six months, 4‑5 days per week, allowing sufficient flexibility for university coursework. The internship will start in February 2026.

Your profile

• Master student at university level in Business Economics/Finance.
• Outstanding academic record with proven affinity for business analytics, data analysis, or business intelligence.
• Motivated to work in a high‑tech company and keen to develop practical skills in a dynamic business environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; capable of working independently with high accuracy and handling a high level of responsibility.
• Excellent English, both spoken and written.

Other requirements

• Enrolled at an educational institute for the entire internship duration.
• Located in the Netherlands; if currently living/studying abroad, willingness to relocate.
• Non‑EU citizens studying in the Netherlands must have a university willing to sign the necessary internship documents (e.g., Nuffic agreement).
