(Junior) Strategist / Analyst – Corporate Development
What will you be doing?
As Analyst Corporate Strategy, you will support Vanderlande’s strategic agenda by contributing to analyses, strategic programs, and cross-functional initiatives. You will work on a variety of topics — from market analysis and strategic planning to transformation initiatives that improve how the company operates and grows.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals with a consulting or strategic background who want to move closer to business impact within a global technology organization.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct market, customer, and competitive analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Develop data-driven insights, presentations, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Support the preparation of strategic materials for leadership discussions and decision forums.
Corporate Strategy Support:
- Contribute to the corporate strategy cycle by supporting market assessments, strategic reviews, and long-term planning activities.
- Assist in developing strategic roadmaps and business cases for new initiatives and growth opportunities.
- Help translate strategy into actionable initiatives across the organization.
Strategic Projects & Transformation Initiatives:
- Support the execution of cross-functional strategic projects that drive growth, efficiency, or innovation.
- Work closely with colleagues across functions such as sales, engineering, operations, and finance to collect insights and structure solutions.
- Help track progress of strategic initiatives and ensure structured follow-up on key actions.
Transaction & Integration Support:
- Contribute to selected transaction-related activities such as carve-out preparation or post-merger integration initiatives.
- Support coordination of workstreams, preparation of analyses, and tracking of integration progress where relevant.
Executive PMO Support:
- Support selected C-level stakeholders on strategic priorities and governance processes, including preparing leadership materials, coordinating inputs, and ensuring follow-up on actions. Requires discretion and the ability to bring structure in a fast-moving, ambiguous context.
What do we ask from you?
- Master’s degree (WO) in Business Administration, Strategy, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–7 years of professional experience, preferably in strategy consulting, management consulting, or a corporate/graduate traineeship within a large international organization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to structure complex topics.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines
- A high level of drive, curiosity, and ownership — you are proactive, eager to learn, and motivated to make an impact.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and engaging with stakeholders across different levels of the organization.
- Active contribution to a collaborative, high-performing strategy team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
- Travel up to approx. 10-20% of your time

What do we offer?
This position offers a competitive salary range of € 4.600 to € 6.700 per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance).

Als starter bij Vanderlande ontvang je een bruto maandsalaris van ongeveer €3.795, afhankelijk van de functie en ervaring. Salarisgroei is gebaseerd op prestaties, ervaring en marktconformiteit. Daarnaast biedt Vanderlande uitstekende secundaire arbeidsvoorwaarden, waaronder 40 vakantiedagen, flexibele werktijden en een hybride werkplek.
