What will you be doing

As a Management Trainee you will complete three projects of six months and a Customer Experience assignment of two months at four different Pon companies. The duration of your Traineeship will be 20 months total.

The first project will be selected for you by your Talent Development Manager. You will be in the lead for choosing the next three projects. We challenge you to explore Pon to the full extent, by doing projects in different business groups (Automotive and Bikes), various functional areas (such as Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and so on) and in both your country of residence (the Netherlands or Germany) and abroad.

During your Customer Experience assignment, you will discover the true roots of Pon and have direct contact with various customers.

Throughout your traineeship there will be a strong focus on your personal development: you will have access to an external coach, participate in three training weeks and have various colleagues (the Talent Development Manager, a senior mentor, project sponsors and of course the trainee (alumni) community) to support you along the way.

After your management traineeship

The Management Traineeship is designed to develop our future leaders’ competencies. Pon aims to prepare trainees for a leadership role within Pon over the years. During your final project you will apply for your first position. Typical roles for a Management Trainee after the program include:

  • Business Development Manager
  • Proposition Marketeer
  • Team Lead Inside Sales
  • (Digital) Project Manager
  • Operations Manager
  • Customer Success Manager
  • Business Assistant
  • Other leadership roles within Pon

Your profile

You will have the opportunity to shape your own future, this is what you bring:

  • Autonomy, curiosity, flexibility, and most importantly: the ability to connect easily with people from diverse backgrounds and all layers of the organization.
  • Affinity for the mobility industry and the drive to make a positive difference.
  • Motivation to gain experience within the core activities of the business and to grow into a leadership role within Pon.
  • Eagerness to grow and develop, actively seeking and applying feedback, and thriving on learning by doing.
  • A University Master’s degree (completed before March 2026).
  • Residence in the Netherlands or Germany.
  • Communication skills in English and Dutch or English and German, depending on residence.
  • Less than 2 years of work experience after completing your University Master.

Application process and instructions

We welcome applications between September 12 and October 22, 2025. The first step of the application process requires uploading your resume without a profile picture. Shortly after uploading your resume you will receive an invitation for your digital assessment, as well as detailed information concerning the rest of the process.

You will have to complete stage 1 (upload your resume & complete the digital assessment) at least on October 22, so make sure to upload your resume a few days before the deadline, to build in enough time to make the digital assessment.

Our selection process consists of 3 steps:

  • Upload Resume & Digital Assessment: September 12 - October 22
  • Interviews: November 3, 4, 5, 6
  • The Game is (P)on (live): November 11

On November 17, we will let you know if we make you an offer. If so, we will celebrate this together on November 28 in Amsterdam at Move, our head office. Please block the dates of the selection procedure in your calendar as we want to ensure a short and smooth process.

Please note: if you accept a job offer within Pon, you may start at any moment between February - April 2026.
