Demand Planner (SodaStream)

Overview

We are looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Demand Planner to join our Planning team at the Netherlands Logistics Centre (NLC) in Tilburg. In this role, you will ensure the timely availability of all materials required for production, supporting smooth operations and optimal inventory levels. You thrive in a dynamic environment, work independently, and have strong communication skills to collaborate across departments and with suppliers.

You will report directly to the Production Planning & Scheduling Analyst and act as the key link between suppliers, operations, logistics, and marketing to guarantee efficient material flow and production continuity.

Responsibilities

• Manage material supply and ensure timely deliveries according to the production plan;
• Monitor inventory levels and determine correct order quantities based on MOQ, purchasing advantages, and risk analysis;
• Align continuously with planners and suppliers, anticipating shortages and resolving issues proactively;
• Coordinate logistics for inbound materials and ensure promised delivery dates are met;
• Provide accurate information to the logistics team on expected inbound and outbound deliveries;
• Track and report KPIs related to stock control and prevent overstock situations;
• Identify and implement improvements to optimize planning processes;
• Support colleagues during vacation periods and contribute to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• A completed Bachelor‑level education, preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management;
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an international environment;
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem‑solving skills;
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in Word and Outlook;
• Experience with inventory management and planning processes;
• Proficient in English; Dutch is an advantage but not a requirement;
• A proactive mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced setting.
