The team
As our Marketing & Communications Manager you will be part of our global Marketing team responsible for all Marketing & Communication of Fokker Services Group, located in Hoofddorp.
You will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team of five, including Director Sales & Marketing, Global Events Manager, Head of Digital Services and Visual Designer. The Director of Marketing & Sales will be your manager and coach.
What will you do?
As our Marketing & Communications Manager you will coordinate the planning, creation, and localization of go-to-market campaigns and toolkits, ensuring alignment with business goals and commercial targets. You’ll drive marketing campaigns from development to execution across print, broadcast and online platforms with cross functional teams to ensure that products & services meet customers’ expectations.
In your role, you will ensure implementation of brand standards and create our global brand marketing strategy as well as brand consistency with our logo and other brand assets. Furthermore, you will be the leader of our content strategy across multiple channels and types, such as email, blogs, editorial pieces, advertisements, press releases, infographics, video and social medial. You will also be responsible for creating (new) assets for our go-to-market products and services.
In addition, you are responsible for, among other things:
- Leading, managing, developing and delivering the creation of impactful content assets and positioning strategies across multiple channels throughout paid, earned, owned, and shared platforms and key industry events.
- Acting as editor for all outgoing content and manage media relations by maintaining strong relationships with key journalists, and proactively creating opportunities for coverage during industry events, plant visits, and other key media moments. Curating and repurposing content for different mediums/platforms as needed and managing our Digital Asset Management platform to streamline asset delivery.
- Managing social media channels like LinkedIn, Instagram and other social media channels, including publishing content and actively monitoring effectiveness and results, and proposing new pathways of adoption when required by our business needs.
- Analyzing social media metrics and ensure improvements are made if needed and report on the effectiveness of content initiatives and iterating based on learnings.
- Working cooperatively with internal stakeholders to create and update content on our official website based on best-in-class SEO practices and aligned with the SEO objectives of the company.

What do you bring?
You are a Marketing & Communications Manager who is a self-starter who enjoys creating new ways of working when a project requires a new strategy or approach. With a minimum of 3 to 5 years of related experience you bring a creative mentality and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas. You have proactive, positive, entrepreneurial spirit with ability to take initiative and work independently but also with a team.
In addition, you have:
- A bachelor's degree, or equivalent preferably in Communications, Marketing or related field.
- Has strong project management skills and the ability to manage a project from conception to delivery.
- Strong English and Dutch language skills.
- Strong understanding of commercial content for lead generation.
- Strong experience working in a relevant content production and/or content management role in a world-class technical and operational organization.
- Creative and an ability to produce innovative and original ideas
- Must be organized, detail-oriented with unprompted follow through exceptional interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Flexibility to support the Marketing team and effective management skills.
- SEO understanding & skills.

Als starter bij Fokker Technologies ontvang je een bruto maandsalaris van ongeveer €2.600 tot €3.000, afhankelijk van de functie en ervaring. Salarisgroei is gebaseerd op prestaties, ervaring en marktconformiteit.
