Production Engineer

What will you do?

As a Production Engineer, you are a vital link between design and execution. You ensure that our production processes run smoothly, efficiently, and are future-proof. You will collaborate with colleagues from production, engineering, and supply chain. With your analyses and improvement proposals, you directly contribute to a stable and scalable production process for both existing and new products.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Analyzing workflows and making improvement proposals.
• Investigating production disruptions and proposing solutions to reduce downtime.
• Supporting root cause analyses (8D) for complex disruptions.
• Assessing the manufacturability of new product designs and providing advice.
• Preparing and guiding make/buy analyses.
• Ensuring the availability and correct deployment of tooling.
• Implementing new work methods together with team leaders and supervisors.
• Leading the introduction of new or modified products.
• Guiding pre-production series.
• Preparing investments in tooling and production lines, and guiding commissioning and maintenance.

What do we ask of you?

For this versatile role, we are looking for an analytical and results-oriented professional with a strong drive to realize improvements. You have persuasive power and can translate your ideas into practice. Additionally, you possess:

• A completed HBO (higher professional education) degree in Technical Business Administration, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of work experience within a production or production management environment.
• Knowledge of and experience with MS Office and an ERP system.
• Good command of both the Dutch and English languages.
• Experience with Operational Excellence (LEAN).
