As part of our growing Technology Strategy & Advisory team, we are looking for a Junior Technology Strategy & Advisory Consultant. As a junior (strategy) consultant you will work in high performance teams to address priority C‑suite issues with precision and speed. Together with your team of young and enthusiastic colleagues, your role will be to help clients transform successfully to stay ahead as information‑driven, digital organizations. You help them gain an understanding of their most crucial challenges, analyze, and communicate your recommendations, to contribute to the client’s success, as well as Accenture’s.

Team

You will serve as a trusted advisor to our clients: In Technology Strategy & Advisory, we articulate a compelling technology vision with industry expertise and context. You will work with C‑level executives, digital marketers and/or IT managers. With your ~80 direct colleagues you are at the heart of the change, developing value case and operating model with disruptive technologies in short to medium engagements. As a TS&A junior consultant you will be positioned at the crucial intersection of business, technology and the industry. We devise creative new digital strategies, implementation roadmaps and guide digital transformations based on trends, insights, data and our expertise. Our work always comes down to one thing: unlocking value and creating real, tangible impacts.

Processes

You get energy from solving complex puzzles and working in teams: Our consultants in Strategy & Consulting are changing businesses every day using industry insights, knowledge and innovative ideas. Applying data‑driven methods to analyze our clients’ strategic challenges, solving complex problems and helping them realize their business strategy through the right use of new technologies. Beside the work for our clients you will also be contributing to our practice and help the team grow and develop by e.g. participating and organizing events, creating points‑of‑view, and sharing your knowledge.

Technology

Convey deep understanding of technology platforms and architecture at intersection of client’s industry to (re)define the client’s technology stack. Realize value, advise, and execute medium to longer term technology transformations such as multi‑year Cloud journeys with a clear industry focus, leveraging cloud partners and platforms to drive innovation, flexibility and agility across enterprise and build new businesses.

Data

You will develop a data strategy, design innovations, and operating models: You will understand the importance of data for business decision making. Helping our clients to become truly data/insight driven by identifying a measurable business value from data & analytics, by designing and building the required capabilities and by driving embedding of data & analytics into their decisions, processes and day to day operations. You will learn teams how to do data‑driven storytelling through quantitative analysis and data visualization.

Qualification

Here's what you'll need

• Completed Master’s degree, preferable with a technical and/or (business) economics focus
• Excellent WO and VWO results, especially on the beta courses
• Extra‑curricular activities (e.g. board and/or international experience)
• Strong personality, presentation, and communicative skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English – spoken and written
• Proven affinity with Digital/IT and Technology (e.g., in your hobbies or work experience)

Bonus points if you have

• Analyzing current issues and building a fact‑based approach to developing and implementing client visions, road maps and governance to address today’s business needs and support future growth
• Strong desire to work in technology‑driven business transformation and curiosity around opportunities and threats posed by innovation and industry convergence
• Developing a deep understanding of emerging technologies to feed value creation opportunities that often disrupt traditional industry value chains and challenge orthodoxies
• Intellectual capacity to develop creative and breakthrough solutions
• Communicating complex technology concepts easily towards clients and build lasting trusted relationships
• Strong analytical skills, understanding of complex issues, the ability to quickly absorb information, conceptual and creative problem‑solving excellence
• First class written and verbal communication skills; the ability to articulate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner
• Proven success in contributing to a team‑oriented environment
• Leadership qualities; the ability to easily establish trust‑based relationships and gain valuable insights through collaboration and communication
• Drive; enjoys a challenge, proven ability to adapt and remove obstacles to achieve results, determination and optimism
• Multiple years of external consulting experience
• 0‑3 years of experience on a transformation program driving value realization, executive storytelling or managing measures of success
• Certifications e.g., Cloud, SAFe
