As Junior Consultant within Industry X you are a next generation leader that drives digital transformations and helps our clients transform their organizations to innovate, launch new products, rethink manufacturing and ensure long-term sustainability. You look at products and processes from ideation to industrialization to their end-of-life by using the power of data and digital ingenuity to help our clients redefine the products they make and how they make them.

The Team

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Industry X group in the Netherlands whereas a Junior Consultant in Industry X you will become part of a diverse and dynamic team of innovators, visionaries and problem solvers in the field of Engineering and Manufacturing.

Our Product Engineering and Servicing group partners with clients to imagine and invent their future of their end-to-end Product journey and to design their next-generation R&D.

Our Manufacturing and Operations group focuses on where clients can digitize, optimize and bring digital transformation to the core of their manufacturing processes.

Daily tasks

As a Junior Consultant in Industry X you will support digital transformation projects with clients in the domains of engineering and manufacturing. From ideation of new products to industrialization.

You advise the client on the end-state of their Smart Factory or R&D processes. You support the delivery and implementation of different technologies at the client which will assist their data governance or support the client in optimizing their asset management.

You will develop a vision for value which starts with the customer journey, extends across the enterprise, and then back again, leading to greater productivity, growth and sustainability. You touch the product lifecycle every step of the way:

• How products are designed and engineered
• How products are sourced and supplied
• How products are manufactured
• How products are serviced, returned and renewed

Technology

Industry X is all about fusing new digital technologies such as Robotics, Digital Twin, IoT, Cloud, AI and Analytics and AR/VR/MR with Industry 4.0 and beyond.

We apply intelligence and advanced digital technologies to connect engineering and manufacturing operations every step of the way and we do so accross industries

Data

We are using the power of data and digital to help our clients re-imagine the products they make and how they make them. Together we help solve our clients' most complex business problems by combining creativity with deep industry, process, and digital engineering & manufacturing expertise.

We help clients to apply data insights which enables them to become truly data driven in the domains of engineering and manufacturing operations.

Qualification

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL NEED: (we require a motivation letter along with your CV)

• You have a master's degree with a strong affinity for technology, consulting and innovation
• You are passionate about digital transformations and Industry X related solutions
• You are fluent in English and/or Dutch, both spoken and written
• You have an engineering background
• You are a true team player with great analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• You are able to travel to (international) client sites (in compliance with up-to-date travel policies)
• You need to be a EU citizen, preferably a Dutch citizen - applications from outside of the EU will not be taken into consideration

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

• 0-2 years of relevant digital transformation experience in one or more Industry X related domains
• Experience with different project management methods such as Waterfall and Agile
