Job Description

As a Scrum Master at Accenture Financial Services – Technology, you act as a servant leader and coach, empowering teams to reach high performance through collaboration, structure, and continuous improvement.

You guide and support 1 or 2 teams at one of our clients, fostering a culture of ownership, agility, and learning. Your focus is on enabling the team and its leadership triangle—Product Owner, Solution Architect, and Technical Lead—to work together effectively and deliver value.

Your responsibilities include:

• Coaching the Triangle: You nurture collaboration within the team’s leadership triangle, helping them align on vision, priorities, and execution. You coach them toward maturity and high performance, ensuring they operate as a cohesive unit.
• Servant Leadership: You remove impediments, facilitate team dynamics, and create an environment where the team can thrive. You lead by example, enabling autonomy while providing guidance and support.
• Structured and Predictable Delivery: You bring clarity and rhythm to the team’s way of working, promoting data-driven decision-making and continuous learning. You help the team balance agility with discipline.
• Team Growth and Performance: You focus on team maturity, fostering a mindset of ownership and improvement. You help the team reflect, adapt, and grow toward their goals.
• Driving Agile Change: As a member of the Scrum Master community and a coach within the client organization, you actively contribute to evolving the Agile way of working. You lead change initiatives and help embed Agile principles across teams and departments.

Qualification

What you bring:

• A strong understanding of the financial services domain and the ability to translate strategic objectives into actionable team goals.
• A coaching mindset: curious, proactive, resilient, and able to inspire others with clarity and humor.
• Experience in Agile coaching and Scrum at both team and organizational levels, with a track record of enabling teams to move forward.
• A results-oriented approach, with experience in setting up and using KPIs to measure and drive performance.
• Certification in Agile frameworks, such as PSM I (Professional Scrum Master I), SSM 6 (SAFe Scrum Master 6), or an equivalent, demonstrating your theoretical foundation in Scrum and Agile principles.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
