Your job as a API developer for CPR team
As a Python Developer you, together with your team, are responsible for simplification and improvement of the connection of systems to the permission register of KPN. This is the central register to store the privacy settings of the customers, to which different consuming CRM systems needs to connect. Securing and correctly applying the privacy settings of our customers becomes more and more important for KPN. Especially with the EU Privacy laws of 2018 coming up.
As a Software Developer you are responsible for:
- Development of API’s within the team on a high quality level
- Unifying the different user identities for the same physical person within the different supply chains inside KPN
- Getting the team to a higher scrum/Agile level, improving yourself as well
What do we expect from you
- Minimum of 2-5 years recent experience in development preferable using Python and Django
- Some knowledge or experience of relational database (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and monitoring tools
- Experience in development with GIT version control.
- Good eye for edge cases in critical flows (authorization, authentication etc)
- Intrinsic drive to continuously improve while searching for new edging technologies and more efficient processes making team performance better
- Understand the Agile mindset and scrum way-of-work.
- Self-employed to finish work but a team player as well.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Must have working permit for The Netherlands or EU passport
- Willingness to own a test mindset and embed Test-Driven-Development
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Robot Framework, Selenium, Browserstack)
- Some experience in the implementation of online authentication systems, using frameworks like OAuth2 and OpenIDConnect.
- Some experience with working on several HTTP API’s (SOAP and/or REST) and API design
