Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

DoubleClick is the world’s leading media buying platform, providing ad technology across all aspects of the buying process from ad serving to analytics. We call this suite of products DoubleClick Digital Marketing (DDM). Programmatic buying represents a significant portion of current digital media spend, opening up new opportunities for publishers and advertisers to match audiences with relevant and compelling ads in a scalable and efficient way.

In this complex world of programmatic buying, our customers have an increased need for additional services to help them make the most out of their advertising technology. We see new and existing partners entering our ecosystem to provide these services - to help customers build new capabilities, help customers decide and integrate their advertising technology, design data strategies, transform operating models and provide programmatic creative services.

As a Strategic Partnership Manager, you will be at the forefront of developing this ecosystem and responsible for managing the EMEA wide partners within the Management Consulting and System Integration domain. Your objective is to find and develop the right partners, grow the availability and quality of value ad services of these partners and make sure our partners are successful in delivering these services to our clients. You will work across all products in the DoubleClick ad technology stack and Enterprise analytics suite. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration within the DoubleClick organization and across Google.

New Product Solutions is the link between Google’s Product and Sales organizations. We turn product innovations into client solutions that enable our customers to get the most out of Google’s advertising products and the web. We partner with Sales team members in building the strongest commercial strategy, and we equip customer-facing Googlers with essential product expertise. We are fascinated by all things digital and passionate about shaping the quickly evolving world of online advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for business development and creating partnerships with global consultancies. Recruit and onboard the partners working closely with the other regions and client teams to develop the right set of services. Create incentive programs and globally agreed business plans.
  • Develop strong relationships with partners that allow for quarterly, annual and long term plans to be delivered with excellence. Speak for the entirety of the Google business and be seen as an expert across the DoubleClick stack as well as the Analytics suite.
  • Provide strong leadership and be the internal advocate to develop and embed the value proposition of our global strategic partners in the Google organization. Communicate with (senior) sales leads and sourcing opportunities.
  • Manage multiple complex opportunities (across multiple territories) and projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

  • Experience with programmatic landscape and DoubleClick/Enterprise Analytics product suite.

 

Preferred qualifications:

  • Demonstrated relationship-building and interpersonal skills that enables close working relationships with key leaders at top consultants worldwide, and strong internal relationships and coordination across business functions as shown by a proven track record to develop and maintain trusted partnerships.
  • Strategic development and deployment skills, with strong analytical and conceptual abilities. Excellent project management skills and ability to deliver across multi-disciplinary global teams.
  • Experience of entrepreneurship either in a start-up environment or in significantly growing a partner or client business, with demonstrated business acumen.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior executives.
