Some experience as a System Administrator (knowledge of Multicasting)

As a member of our Trading Operation Specialist Team a person in this role will be responsible for the availability and performance of trading and trading related applications. The role as Trading Operation Specialist involves technical trouble shooting, managing application performance and close interacting with the Traders.
With distinct IT talents and affinity for electronic trading, the specialist is able to operate in a dynamic Trading environment where complex challenges require innovative solutions. The specialist will be working with highly skilled and motivated colleagues such as Developers, System Engineers and Traders. A person in this role knows what it is to take ownership of an issue and is aware that their actions contribute to the profit and loss of the company.
Making sure that the applications, that make up our clustered trading system, are up and running and solving issues to make sure that the Traders can use their systems at the start of day.
Interacting with Traders to understand what they do in order to contribute to the company’s performance;
Documenting the functionality of trading (related) applications and training the Traders to make full use of the offered possibilities;
Being the liason between Traders and Developers and to streamline the process between order, trade and settlement;
Building and maintaining a relationship with exchanges (or other executing venues) to configure, test, and implement new trading applications;
Assisting our Developers to design new and improve existing applications;
Act as primary escalation point for any and all technical issues;
Creating clear reports in regards to issues and possible improvements.
