ETL Developer

Description

In this role, you will be collecting and transforming data into information and insights that will ensure Flow Traders better understands the context in which it operates. Your information delivery will have a direct impact on Flow Traders' core business success, by becoming more efficient and helping us take better business decisions.

As a data analyst, you will be working on the Business Intelligence, Risk Management & Mid-Office team, reporting directly into the Global Head of the group. You will be working on numerous projects spanning across the business, focusing on collecting and usage of various types of data. Your analysis and reporting of these data sets will benefit Trading, Management, and any other department within Flow Traders globally.

Core responsibilities:

Designing, creating and analyzing automated reports for distribution via various means.
Expanding, improving and maintaining the existing code base (Python/SQL) in its various areas:
Adding further functionalities such as data integrity and dependency tests.
Acquiring new data sources and generating additional business information.

Requirements

University degree in Computing Science or in Econometrics, Business or Economics
1-3 years working experience in a data analytics or data handling role
Strong affinity with technology
You have (object oriented) programming experience.
You are familiar with and have experience using the software development life cycle and debugging code.
Knowledge of financial markets is a plus
