Job Summary
- Accountable for management of MHE and FSV fleets with a European remit.
- Sourcing and management of a Pan-European supplier base to meet CCE’s equipment requirements.
- Responsible for fleet related financial reporting, forecasting and capital budget process across relevant territories.
- Ensuring lowest total cost of ownership is maintained through both Procurement processes and technical development.
- Accountable for fulfilling fleet requirements within a framework of safe operation, legislative compliance and controlled cost.
- Responsible for the development and implementation of relevant CRS strategies.
Job Purpose
- Creation and implementation of SLAs and KBIs with partner organisations in all territories to drive efficiency, compliance and CRS agendas.
- To establish and develop constructive relationships with operational stakeholders throughout Europe securing appropriate levels of engagement.
- To ensure cross territory best practice sharing to support development of strategic solutions.
- Development of technical specifications to ensure the most efficient and operationally appropriate equipment is identified and implemented in every case.
- To direct and conduct technical investigations associated to unplanned incidents or failures.
- Sourcing and evaluation of fleet supplier partnerships, in conjunction with IOP colleagues, to meet CCE’s current and anticipated future requirements.
- Development of partner contracts to deliver best service, flexibility and economics.
- Creation and presentation of financial and operational updates aligned with the MMF process as required.
- Project management of fleet replacement exercises at site and country levels including capital budgeting, IPC and CAR processes through to equipment implementation planning and delivery.
- Leadership and development of European fleet team, building knowledge and capability whilst identifying development requirements/opportunities.
- Developments of standardised best practice to ensure safety and operational standards are continually maintained.
- Establishment of country level processes to ensure service and legislative standards are embedded and maintained.
- Accountable for strategic European supplier performance reviews; ensuring service compliance and cost controls are maintained and developed whilst innovation opportunities are identified.
- Development of CRS excellence strategies supporting innovation and sustainability throughout European MHE and FSV fleets.
Desired Skills and Experience
English essential with another European language desirable
Automotive Engineering Degree or Apprenticeship with extended equivalent learning
Extensive experience within Heavy Vehicle and Materials Handling Equipment sectors
International Certificate of Professional Competence
Financial and budgetary experience, ideally at European level
Well-developed supplier management skills
Environmentally aware and Safety focused
