As our new Manager Indirect Procurement – Buildings and Facilities (Northern Europe) you will lead the Buildings and Facilities category across Coca-Cola Enterprises Northern European Business Unit (comprising Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Sweden and Norway). Whilst the majority of projects will focus on this region, the successful candidate will also work on projects spanning all Coca-Cola Enterprises territories. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Procurement – Buildings and Facilities (based in London).
As part of the Indirect Procurement – Supply Chain Team (13 people) you will be expected to develop and execute category strategies in order to:
- Control and limit exposure to price volatility
- Drive CRS (Corporate social responsibility) initiatives with key strategic suppliers to support Coca-Cola Enterprises 2020 sustainability commitments
- Identify and deliver category projects and innovation to drive cost and CRS benefits
- Ensure security and quality of supply
This role can be based in Belgium, Netherlands, Sweden or Norway. The role does require travel, potentially up to 30%, predominantly in Northern European Business Unit and also our European territories.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Optimal Cost Management: supporting development of Category strategies, identifying of additional value opportunities, ensuring implementation of projects in line with targets and adhering to Coca-Coca Enterprises Sourcing Processes.
- Strong stakeholder Management by establishing and maintaining productive relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure engagement in all activities, and support for Procurement strategy and building a network of external stakeholders through benchmarking activities.
- Category management: maximizing spend under contract and compliance to negotiated agreements.
- Improved Category CRS Performance: Reduce existing carbon footprint within supply base, and identify future CRS opportunities.
- Master’s degree
- 3-5 years Procurement experience (Buildings and Facilities experience preferable)
- Ability to think strategically and deliver tactically
- Excellent communication skills (able to influence at a senior level)
- Experience of negotiating in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment
- Demonstrate the capacity to evaluate issues analytically and commercially
- Strong project and change management skills
- Strong team ethic
- Fluent English skills, proficiency in other European languages (French, Dutch) an advantage
