What?
As HR/Recruitment Generalist, your job is to create a strategy for the recruitment of new trainees, and to execute on this strategy. You will be recruiting new MasterClass Professionals and as the team expands, to recruit new talent to join you at the office in Frankfurt.
Your duties include but are not limited to:
- Making contact with universities in Germany to recruit trainees
- Creating a strategy for the recruitment of trainees
- Compiling HR processes and executing these
- Completing the necessary administrative tasks that go hand in hand with the HR processes
- Administering the application and job interviewing procedure
- Informing and advising management on the German job market and organisational culture
You’ll be part of Calco, leader in the Dutch market of IT secondment with over 500 employees. With our highly successful IT traineeship, the Calco MasterClass, we have helped over 1400 enthusiastic professionals kickstart their career in IT. Because of this great success, we are now expanding into the German market and looking for new talent.
Your position is crucial for the successful expansion of Calco into the German market, as you are the pin that connects the Calco Headquarters in the Netherlands with Calco Frankfurt. You will be working very closely with the commercial director who is positioned in the Netherlands.
For whom?
We are looking for a HR/Recruitment Generalist who is excited to take on a new challenge and who wants to help set up the first office of Calco in Germany.
Requirements:
- You have a bachelor’s/master’s degree from an accredited university or the equivalent (Fachhochschule) in HR management
- You have around 2 to 5 years of working experience in the area of HR and/or recruitment
- You speak German and English fluently
- You are very familiar and knowledgeable with the German job market and organisational culture, and are confident in acting on your familiarity on this matter
- Experience in the legal field or in a detachment company is preferred
Skills:
- You are proactive and self-motivating, but also take pride in including others in your work
- Your empathic and communicative skills make it easy for you to make and maintain contact with people

You will be responsible for setting up the office in Germany, which will be located in the centre of Frankfurt. You will mostly be working from this office, but you will also possibly be travelling to other parts of Germany or occasionally to our headquarters in Utrecht, The Netherlands.
