The Unilever Future Leaders Programme starts twice a year, on 1 March and 1 September of each year. The Unilever Future Leaders Programme offers the following Management Traineeships: Marketing, Customer Development (sales), Supply Chain, Finance, Research & Development and HR. From 1 October until 20 November 2013 you can apply to start on the 1 March 2014. We advise you to apply as soon as possible since the selection procedure will start immediately. Please note that you can apply only once a year and for one discipline only.
We'll help you, help yourself
We’ll support you every step of the way, but much of your progress will be up to you. As well as learning on the job, you’ll have access to many classroom and e-learning courses. You’ll need to be focused and ambitious to get where you want, identifying opportunities and taking responsibility for your own development. Furthermore, we have an active Young Unilever Manager network where you will interact with peers and learn from the best. A Young Unilever Manager will be assigned to you as your mentor and you will have the chance to join many fun and interesting social activities.
See the bigger picture
Wherever you’re based, you’ll quickly begin to see how the functions operate closely together and to help you better understand that interaction, you’ll often work as part of cross-functional international teams. You’ll also get insight in different areas of the company on every level. For example, from working on the factory floor to spending time in a supermarket. As you move on, your projects get more challenging which can mean managing larger budgets, bigger brands or more people.

If you’ve got the potential, we’ll provide all the training & support you need to launch your management career in a few years. Focused on building leadership capability and accelerating your development, the programme involves a number of job rotations. Roles with responsibilities which will provide you fantastic insight into the organisation, continually test and develop your skills and the chance to make an immediate contribution to the business.
