The ORMIT ASML EUV Factory Traineeship
You will start in the fast growing and highly innovative business line EUV of ASML: the EUV Factory. The revolutionary technique of extreme ultraviolet light has the potential to create chips with details of 7 nanometer!
In two years, through performing various challenging assignments, you will be prepared to become a senior project leader within the EUV Factory. In this position you are responsible for the manufacturing of one whole system. It is your task to bring the right disciplines together and to deploy them effectively. By acting as a bridge between the various stakeholders you will maintain the overview that is needed to achieve the desired delivery date.
In addition you, as project manager, are responsible for managing expectations, escalations and for achieving results. You operate between the different components in the EUV system throughout the whole EUV factory and connect with different stakeholders within ASML. You are the key to bring people and processes together.
The program is designed to let you succeed at ASML and to prepare you for the demanding role of project manager within the EUV Factory. Besides the assignments at ASML, the traineeship consists of an intensive development program with training, peer supervision, coaching and the experience of being part of ORMIT. You get a personal Talent Development Manager who will coach you with our approach of appreciative coaching. This kind of coaching is an inspiring example for your future management and guidance of people. In intervision meetings you will share your experiences with other ORMIT’ers. This combination of experiences and development ensures that you will grow fast in your professional role.
You will be employed at ASML in Veldhoven, where the EUV Factory is located. Here, the EUV machine is being developed, tested and prepared for customers. You will work at the office between specialists and technicians and in clean rooms that must be completely free of dust.
In this high tech and dynamic environment, we are working on the next generation EUV machines based on Extreme Ultra Violet light. These machines are continuously developed and manufactured at the same time. All this in order to optimally facilitate customers. The new generation of devices is waiting on these chips!
The EUV machine and the manufacturing process is extremely complex. It demands a lot of the project manager to make sure everything runs smoothly. You maintain the necessary overview and insight for various stakeholders. In addition you are able to translate the demands from these stakeholders back to the specialists who are developing the product.
This traineeship is unique as result of the combination of a fitting personal and professional development program at ORMIT in combination with the execution of one or two challenging assignments as project leader or process owner within the EUV Factory.
During the intensive training- and education program, you will be coached on personal and professional development, both by ASML managers and your ORMIT coach. You will actively work with career coaching and you will have intervision moments with your fellow trainees.
Have completed an University degree. Preferably a (technical) business or a technical study. Furthermore, you have up to one year of work experience and a very strong affinity with technology.
You also need a permanent work permit or EU citizenship.
In addition to your studies, you have already demonstrated your skills in various extracurricular activities. We are looking for motivated people who have the ambition to contribute to the growth and ambitions of ASML.
