Our team within the IT department plays a crucial role in training and developing our employees to help them grow. We are currently revamping two training programs: the Tech Academy and TechTogether. To make these initiatives a success, we are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic intern specializing in Learning & Development (L&D). During your internship, you will identify the L&D needs of our IT professionals and help translate these into a comprehensive training program.
During your internship, you will be involved in:
- Supporting the development and implementation of training programs.
- Assisting in the creation of learning content and materials.
- Organizing and coordinating training sessions and workshops.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training sessions and recommending improvements.
- Communicating with various stakeholders to understand their learning needs and translating these into training solutions.
- Contributing innovative ideas for the continuous improvement of our L&D programs.
At PostNL, we value good collaboration and a positive working atmosphere. You will be part of a small and dynamic team with a central role within the IT department. The team includes Chapter Leads responsible for providing specialized support to a group of IT professionals and an L&D Project Manager who works on the training programs for all chapters. We are a relatively new team, and there is still plenty of room to shape our team dynamics. We typically work at the office on Mondays and Wednesdays, with the rest of the week being remote.

In sumarry, you can expect the following benefits:
- A monthly internship allowance of €500 based on 37 hours, plus travel expenses if applicable.

You are curious and enjoy collaborating with others. You bring the latest knowledge in L&D practices. Gathering requirements and proposing your own ideas comes naturally to you. With your analytical skills, you can collect and analyze information and turn it into concrete actions. You possess strong communication skills and can clearly and structuredly present your findings to various stakeholders. You have a strong interest in IT and Learning & Development, with an affinity for software development being a plus.
Additionally, you bring the following:
- You are pursuing an HBO or WO degree in HR, Learning & Development, Communication, or a related field.
- Affinity with IT and some knowledge of software engineering is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and a proactive attitude.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- An interest in developing and improving IT training programs.
