Accenture - Thesis Internship Marketing Communications - Media

Hi (potential) master student! We are looking for a thesis student to join the Marketing practice of Accenture Song. This capability comprises four different practices: Marketing & Advisory, Creative, Data & AI, and Customer Tech, which is the team you will join. Together, we merge creativity and data-driven marketing with distinctive business consultancy. Each practice plays a vital role in helping companies organize and build brands that perform! 

  • Team As a Marketing Communications intern, you’ll join our bold and generous team of media channel specialists and strategists. We’re all about leveraging creativity, technology and industry expertise to drive innovative brand experiences and campaigns. Collaborate with our consultants to strategize, ideate, implement and bridge the gap between business and media for our clients.
  • Daily tasks As an intern within the Product Design Team, one main aspect is of course central: writing your thesis. In doing so, you'll be supported by the dedicated people in our team. You will also conduct research within the marketing communications domain and you might find a way to contribute to our team through internal initiatives. In addition, we would like to introduce you to Accenture Song and the world of consultancy, so you will have the opportunity to gain experience within the Marketing domain within Accenture Song.  Together with the other interns, you’ll be challenged to add value to Accenture Song by coming up with your own company-wide project.
  • Research We support research topics that, amongst others, connect to the following domains (1) Marketing Communications, (2) Media Strategy, (3) Generative AI for Marketing Communications (Media) purposes, (4) Media Content & Creation and (5) Media & Data and Technology. We will work together to define the specific topic. It’s important to think of a topic that interests you!  
  • Interested? If you are interested, please provide us with a motivational letter where you propose a research topic. You can upload your motivation letter together with your resume in our Workday system.
Song Talent Factory (STF)

As part of your internship, you will also take part in Song Talent Factory. This program will be leading you through your path at Accenture Song and will provide additional engagements, activities and projects to enhance your intern experience. Being part of the Song Talent Factory, you will: 

  • Get professional guidance on finding the next step in your career; 
  • Get expert support on your thesis topic while leveraging all Accenture resources; 
  • Be part of one Song program where you are required to collaborate with other interns at Accenture Song from our different offerings (Commerce, Design & Digital Product Creation, Marketing and Consumer Services); 
  • Work on a large internship long consulting project together with your STF group. This will allow you to not just get a glimpse of one of the four capabilities, but you will really get to see everything Accenture Song has to offer; 
  • Be part of the Accenture Song community through companywide and intern specific engagement events 
  • Enjoy the wide variety of training opportunities;

Qualifications

Here's what you'll need

  • Be enrolled at a Masters program in a Dutch university, preferably a Technical, Digital and/or Business focused study program.
  • Affinity with marketing technology and strategy.
  • You are fluent in English and Dutch; both spoken and written. 
  • A hands-on mentality and pro-active attitude.
  • Entrepreneurial and creative mindset.
  • Independent working attitude and ability to problem-solve through analytical approaches.
