The Junior Brand Manager Lay’s is a key contributor to the development and execution of Lay’s marketing plans for both The Netherlands and Belgium in order to accelerate Lay’s brand leadership. You will be responsible for a dedicated part of the Lay’s portfolio and support the Senior Brand Manager on:
- Leading development and excellent execution of the Brand Growth Strategy for the Lay’s TM portfolio, in close collaboration with the international cross-functional category team (ONE BRAND TEAM).
- Delivering on annual business plan objectives (NR, SOM, Profit, amongst others), whilst continuously building brand equity and household penetration.
- Leading development and excellent execution of integrated marketing communications (TCP) within a matrixed and multi-market environment.
- Successfully launching NPDs, achieving sustainable in-market results
- Tracking performance (brand, NPD, business) and course-correct when needed
- Building and nurturing constructive relationships with key creative agencies and suppliers
- A&M Budget Management through oversight of the different components of the brand budget to ensure P&L integrity
- Relevant experience in FMCG Marketing is a must (1-2 years ideally)
- Dutch and/or French native and fluent in English
- University Master’s degree
- Passionate brand builder with a strong affinity for delivering successful Innovation and Integrated Marketing Communications based on a clear Brand Purpose
- Used to navigate and work in a digital environment – you have a genuine interest in how the company operates in this area and are keen on keeping track of the latest developments in the world of digitalization
- Ability to drive long-term brand equity growth whilst deliver on annual business performance objectives (balancing the short and long term)
- Analytical thinking and numerical analysis to identifying trends and patterns in multiple sources of data/information
- Taking on new and complex challenges with energy and enthusiasm, influencing and motivating others
- Result driven. Balancing a sense of urgency with the need to deliver quality results, demonstrating perseverance in achieving complex or ambiguous goals
