We specialize in helping clients create successful new business models when facing existential threats from digital technologies that provide competitors with low entry barriers.

Your 1st assignment could involve any combination of digital project delivery coordination for Digital transformations.

Your role as Digital Project Coordinator

The Project Coordinator role is primarily focused on supporting the project management team’s delivery of digital projects.

Role & Responsibilities

These are the main areas of focus for a Digital Project Coordinator:

  • Managing and delivering projects
  • Support the delivery of multiple work streams for various types of digital projects within an account (e.g.
  • web-site development, mobile apps, project management reporting and interactive dashboards. etc.) to
  • agreed scope, timings, budget and quality
  • Work with internal teams to help define project scope, resource requirements and cost estimates for projects
  • Encourage and facilitate collaboration. Set up projects in DIGITOOL TOOLS to give full visibility but allow the team to collaborate independently
  • Produce realistic timings in MS Project with clearly flagged milestones
  • Use DIGITAL TOOLS to assign and track issues when appropriate at the start of a project, analyze the areas that could potentially throw the delivery off track, log these risks and list what you plan to do to mitigate against them
  • Be on top of projects and know timings, key milestones, budgets, resourcing, risks, etc.
  • Assess the time and financial impact of changes and communicate to as appropriate.
  • Understand the workings and needs of the account you are partnered with; have a good understanding of the brands you work on - their definitions, their core characteristics, how they should and shouldn't behave
  • Understand the key technical aspects of the development process for website/portal delivery, email delivery, online advertising, digital outdoor etc. as appropriate to your client.
  • Be commercially aware: At all times have an idea of the status of the budget of your projects;

Personal development

Prior to starting your first client engagement, you will attend a three weeks induction program for graduates abroad to ensure you have a solid understanding of Cognizant’s culture and processes. You will have the opportunity for further training and support by our own Academy to help you achieve your long-term career goals, like working with different cultures, requirement gathering, project management, agile development and many more.

The induction program normally starts in January, May and September. These are also the moments when you will start.

After the induction program you will receive:

  • Business process and requirements analyses
  • Customer Contact and Interaction Management

In addition to your day to day project manager and your AIM supervisor, we will assign a mentor from another Cognizant practice to ensure you get all the help and support you need to start your career on the best footing.

Key requirements:
  • Min. Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business & IT, Computer Science, Computer or Industrial Engineering, Management Information Systems other related majors;
  • (Preferably) demonstrated ability to program;
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills;
  • Ability to work collaboratively with global project teams;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (in Dutch AND in English)
  • Nil or maximum 1,5 years relevant work experience after graduation;
  • You must be authorized and eligible to work freely in the EU.
