At Accenture we want our people to be knowledgeable. Therefore every new joiner in the Digital cluster should participate in a “BI Foundation” program. Aswell highly recommended is our “BI Bootcamp”.
In the BI Bootcamp, participants learn the basics of Business Intelligence, analytics, visualization, Big Data, data modeling, BI projects, etc. It is a four-day course that does not only provide insight on these topics but also how this is done at Accenture.
The current Bootcamp is getting outdated again. In this internship, you will create a new BI Bootcamp based on the previous ones. There are several tasks involved in this assignment:
- Examine the current BI Bootcamp
- Setup a new BI Bootcamp
- Setup a new case that can be used alongside the BI Bootcamp. You can also use an existing case from a vendor like Microsoft as long as it is a complete case covering all areas
- Handover the new BI Bootcamp to the faculties providing it
- One of the deliverables is an updated guide: how can we keep the BI Bootcamp up to date without too much effort?
To shape the BI Bootcamp, you need to connect with subject matter experts. It is required that you pick at least one of the topics and do a deep dive into that one allowing you to create that part of the BI Bootcamp from what you have investigated yourself.
A few aspects of this assignment are very important:
- The BI Bootcamp should be approved by the central myLearning organization
- No legal issues should come up with the materials used in the BI Bootcamp
- The BI Bootcamp should not exceed four days

- You are in the final year of your HBO or WO; preferably in IT or business IT
- You are a team player with excellent communication skills
- Excellent in both Dutch and English languages
- You are able to work independent
- You are eager to learn and are ambitious
- You are able to solve complex issues of all sorts
