Summary
We at imgZine are currently seeking a full time Test Engineer to join our team! Come and talk to us for an exciting opportunity at imgZine, part of ORTEC Living Data, in Amsterdam. The Test Engineer is one of the key persons within the company. He/she will make sure to not only test products before hitting production stage but will also invent, build and introduce the processes & tools needed to minimize product post-production deployment incidents.
Responsibilities
- Develop procedures, methods and tools for test, verification and certification of the company’s products.
- Validate testing activities and results of the mobile applications.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis when repetitive failure of products occur.
- Participate in design verification of products.
- Participate in preparing product compliance documentation.
- Work close with the development and project management teams to ensure stable production ready products.
- Work with the Customer Success team to identify possible bugs and- or feature issues and follow-up on these with the appropriate team(s).
Qualifications
- Detail oriented and analytical.
- Strong team player but still a self-starter.
- Thrives in a multitasking environment and can adjust priorities on-the-fly.
- Absolute can-do attitude

- Proven ability to drive continuous value of our product(s).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (UK mandatory, NL is a nice to have).
Requirements
- A clear interest and experience in mobile technologies and devices.
- Expert in testing mobile applications (iOS/Android/Windows).
- Expert in developing test instructions and procedures.
- Knowledge of Quality Control principles and methodology.
- Experience with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) or the ability to learn it swiftly.
- Eager to get to know our platform inside out, adapt and perfect your work; you seek out help and put it to good use.
