Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

Our Large Customer Sales (LCS) team promotes our product suite of Google AdWords, YouTube, the Google Display Network and Mobile. Working within LCS means you work in a dynamic, fast-paced and client-facing environment. You set the vision and strategy for how clients’ advertising can reach users and promote across the entire Google product suite. 

As an Analytical Manager, you will partner with clients and their agencies to develop digital strategies to transform their success, identify their business challenges and collaboratively shape solutions that drive their strategic initiatives demonstrating how Google products can enhance their online presence. You’ll consult using search-based advertising products, but also display advertising using Mobile, YouTube and the Google Display Network.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Country Manager and leadership team to define the analytical agenda.
  • Manage and promote the quality of the work of the Analytical Consultants, amongst others by setting the standard and developing new analyses.
  • Inspire customers with new insights and be a recognized thought leader for Google.
  • Challenge the leadership team with analyses on progress of the business.
  • Coach and mentor the group of Analytical Consultants and contribute to quarterly performance evaluations.

Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Managerial experience including performance management and coaching for development.
  • Experience driving a strategic vision, developing continuous views on multiple topics, based on data and insights.

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience with online media and digital transformation.
  • Experience in a strategic consultancy.
  • Superb analytical skills proven in different sectors.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills for both internal and external communications and presentations.
  • Fluency in English and one or more of the Scandinavian and Benelux languages.
