Measurement and Attribution Expert

Businesses that partner with Google come in all shapes, sizes and market caps, and no one Google advertising solution works for all. Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.

As Measurement and Attribution Expert you will be working to advance our customers by helping them to accurately measure, assign value and allocate budgets to each of their media and acquisitions channels using Google products. You will work directly with a portfolio of large advertisers, and will pitch, test and implement attribution solutions to these customers. Your role is to make sure that clients fairly value their online investment, including its impact offline as well as online, and to help them act upon their understanding. You asses your largest opportunities (projects, measurement solutions and clients) and agree on a priority list accordingly.

You are an expert on Google’s (and third parties’) measurement and attribution solutions (incl. but not limited to: Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, AdWords, DoubleClick, Adometry). You will own and drive complex Measurement and Attribution projects with the largest advertisers in the Netherlands in which you advise on the best setup for measurement and attribution for their mobile, tablet & desktop sites, apps and media campaigns, up-skill the local sales teams through stellar training and learning on the job whilst being at the heart of product development in this area for the region. 

We are looking for highly analytical minds that can solve complex problems, as well developing relationships with key stakeholders in and outside of Google. You are analytical, flexible, creative, and you have excellent communication skills. You can work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. A highly consultative approach is key.

Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver measurement and attribution strategy for the Netherlands
  • Identify and drive big impact opportunities across our advertiser base and develop strategic plans for measurement and attribution. Analyze complex advertiser performance data through tools such as Google Analytics, AdWords and the DoubleClick suite.
  • Own and develop relations with both regional and global product management teams at Google to roll out products to market
  • Develop and support sales team in the Netherlands to be functional attribution advisors including creating/delivering internal trainings as necessary
  • Work cross functionally within Google and collaborate on projects to drive client success. Work with Google product experts to innovate and optimize client performance and measurement solutions.

Minimum qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience working with clients on measurement, attribution modeling, business intelligence and marketing

Preferred qualifications

  • Ability to mine data (with spreadsheet software or SQL skills) and distill insights relevant to consumer journey and media mix application.
  • Excellent understanding of web analytics packages (Google’s and third parties).
  • Entrepreneurial and able to set up and successfully run large advertiser facing projects.
  • Demonstrated statistical data analysis and experimental design capabilities.
