Your knowledge of online media combined with your communication skills and analytical abilities shapes how new and existing business grow. Using your influencing and relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
As Industry Head for travel advertisers in the Netherlands, you will be part of the account team that develops and executes Google’s strategies for a unique group of sophisticated travel clients that operate globally. This is a branding yet creative position that requires a sharp analytical mind, an entrepreneurial spirit and knowledge about both branding and performance. Together with the account teams, you will be leading branding solutions like YouTube and Display. You will combine excellent analytical skills with a good understanding of Google’s products as well as strong presentation and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data trends and client performance, develop solid strategic plans, and prepare and conduct pitches and marketing presentations.
- Translate Google's product portfolio into solutions to meet our customer's needs and help them achieve their strategic and commercial goals.
- Develop strong relationships with travel clients and their marketing services agencies. Transform the way these clients interact with customers and help their businesses grow.
- Together with our colleagues, contribute to the growth and challenges of travel clients with our effort, talent and creativity.
- Build strong organizational and digital marketing skills; clear and strategic thinking with the ability to develop and execute tactics and strategies.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in digital marketing.
- Experience in online sales, business development and/or digital advertising.
- Strong knowledge of Google products and tools in data analysis.
- Deep understanding of all Google advertising products (e.g., Search, Mobile, Display).
- Understanding of search and performance marketing.
- Strong people management skills.
- Ability to think creatively, approach (Digital) Marketing from new angles, and manage both up and down the organization.
