Background

For the second year in a row, Unilever’s European Supply Chain (ESC), based in Schaffhausen (Switzerland), has been voted the nr. 1 spot of the top 15 supply chain companies with their headquarters in Europe by US based Gartner. We are recognized as the best in the industry by delivering world class service to our customers and superior quality products to our consumers in a responsive, cost competitive and sustainable way for Unilever. Our mission is to add value to Unilever through the continuous development of our people, our capabilities and our global network every day.

Over half of Unilever’s employees are in Supply Chain. That’s over 90,000 people and less than 5% of these are in management roles. A performance culture is enabled by the diversity of our people, across gender, age, language, geographies, culture and skills. These people are our competitive advantage.

The Supply Chain Planning & Reporting department (SC-PR), located at Nassaukade De Brug office, provides financial support to the ESC Controlling team in Schaffhausen. The responsibility of our team is in delivering the ESC Management P&L, the overall coordination of Factory results and the reporting of Working Capital and Stocks. Functional support to each controlling area (PLAN, SOURCE, MAKE, DELIVER) is provided by SC-PR in close interaction with Supply Chain back-office operational hubs. Our department is the key contact for the European cluster in terms of Supply Chain management results, and therefore has full overview of European Gross Profit, with a special focus on European Gross Margin delivery. The ESC Planning & Reporting Analyst will support the ESC Reporting & Analytics Manager in delivering timely and accurate financial information to our leadership team and the Unilever finance community, as well as supporting the development of processes/systems that aim at improving the quality and efficiency of financial information shared across the business.
