What impact will you make?
Organizations are under constant pressure to meet the demands and needs of today's market, legislation, their employees and other stakeholders. As a result, companies are constantly changing; one of many reasons why the way a company or department is organized is often examined. As Junior Consultant, you support the client in determining the right structure for an organization and translate this into a detailed design, including optimal capacity, division of tasks, coordination mechanisms, roles and responsibilities. This can vary from projects concerning strategic reorganizations and M&A, cost savings and transformations to digital and agile organizations.
Besides finding a home in the Organization Design Team, as a Junior Consultant, you will participate in the ‘BASE program’ where you rotate in various projects among other Organization Transformation (OT) department teams. This will help you gain a broader understanding of various business functions and enhance your versatility. To further advance your skills, you will engage in various OT-specific trainings.
How do you do this?

you will be responsible for specific objectives in the project team. Depending on your
experience and personal growth you will get more and more responsibility;

you support the delivery of project objectives such as; organizational assessments,
advising on optimal organizational structure, project approach, cost reduction, carve-out
strategy etc.;

you support project management activities;

you support industry and/or market proposals;

you organize internal events.
Naturally you effectively communicate your complex ideas and analyses and you are keen to discover and learn new things each day. But most importantly, be the true you. With your personal strengths, view of the world, and unique personality. You need the following qualifications for the position of Junior Consultant Organization Design:
- completed a relevant Master's education (such as, but not limited to: Business Administration, Business Studies, Economics Organizational Sciences);
- in addition to your studies you have participated in extracurricular activities such as: student/student association, board year, international experience, sports association, committees etc.;
- an excellent command of the Dutch and English languages, orally and in writing.
You will share your expertise with about 180 other colleagues in the Organization Transformation team that is part of Deloitte Consulting. Our team guides and supports clients in the development and implementation of (large, international)
transformations. We advise on the implementation of new processes or IT systems, supervise the human side of mergers, assist in (re)structuring organizations, develop and support change strategies and shape the corresponding communication and
change approach.
