Main Purpose

The National Account Group Manager Jumbo groep (Jumbo & C1000) will lead and support the Jumbo Sales Team in developing & delivering the Strategic & Annual Sales Plan for the Jumbo Groep Customers Jumbo and C1000 (all categories excl. CSD's) as well as the Nuts category Strategic and Annual Sales Plan for total Netherlands and will develop/ actively support People & Sales Capability for the Jumbo Group customer team.

Accountabilities

Leads development and implementation of the Strategic and Annual Sales Plan for all food categories with the Jumbo Groep (Jumbo & C1000).

  • Leads development and implementation of the Strategic and Annual Sales Plan for the category Cereals & Saj.
  • Delivers the agreed annual Sales objectives on Volume, Net Sales, Contribution, Trade Investments for total food with the as well as domestic Salty.
  • Supports direct reports in the development and implementation of the Customer Plan and collaborates with Trade Development & Field Sales so as to obtain the right quality & quantity of support necessary to deliver the agreed customer plan
  • Collaborates with Trade Development, Revenue Management, Business planning and Marketing in the Cereals & SAJ Category team to deliver the agreed domestic Cereals & SAJ targets.
  • Independently negotiate and close CDA's to deliver targeted results which are aligned with the customer plan
  • Implements Senior Level Customer Wiring to support issue resolution and to identify incremental Business opportunities through TtT's and Business Reviews
  • Provides ongoing coaching, feedback and formal training to all (direct) reports to support them in the achievement of their individual targets and to develop their skills & capabilities.
  • Staff, onboard, train & retain the Jumbo Groep Customer Team with high caliber talent.

 

Key Skills/Experience Required


    Education and work experience:
    University Degree

  • Minimum of 7 years solid experience in OT Sales within FMCG industry, preferably experience with Jumbo groep, Shopper Marketing & Category Management.
  • Proven track record in FMCG sales
Required Knowledge and skills:

  • Strong proven analytical and commercial skills
  • Thorough understanding of Category Management & Shopper
  • Marketing concepts and principles
  • Ability to build long-term plans based on solid understanding of the customer, category and the shopper.
  • Ability to build long-term successful business relationships with Leading customers
  • Able to combine strategic vision with entrepreneurial drive and implementation
  • Excellent negotiation skills, independent negotiator
  • Excellent communication skills both internal and towards the customer.
