What will you be doing
As a Management Trainee you will complete three projects of six months and a Customer Experience assignment of two months at four different Pon companies. The duration of your Traineeship will be 20 months total.
The first project will be selected for you by your Talent Development Manager. You will be in the lead for choosing the next three projects. We challenge you to explore Pon to the full extent, by doing projects in different business groups (Automotive, Bike, Equipment & Power Systems and Agricultural Products & Services), various functional areas (such as Marketing, Sales, Supply Chain, and so on) and in both the Netherlands and abroad.
During your Customer Experience assignment, you will discover the true roots of Pon and have direct contact with various customers.
Throughout your traineeship there will be a strong focus on your personal development: you will have access to an external coach, participate in three training weeks and have various colleagues (the Talent Development Manager, a senior mentor, project sponsors and of course the trainee (alumni-community) to support you along the way.
The Management Traineeship is designed to develop our future leaders’ competencies. Pon aims to prepare trainees for a Management Team or other key position within five to seven years after completing the program. During your final project you will apply for your first position. Typical roles for a Management Trainee after the program include Marketing Manager, Proposition Marketeer, Team Lead Inside Sales, (Digital) Project Manager, Operations Manager, Business Development Manager, Customer Success Manager and much more.
Your profile
You will have the opportunity to shape your own future, which is why the following is required:
- You show autonomy, ownership, flexibility, and (above all) entrepreneurship
- You easily connect and enjoy working with people with diverse backgrounds and all layers of the organization (from workshop to boardroom).
- You are interested in the mobility industry and driven to make a positive difference together.
- A university Master's degree (completed before March 2024)
- Fluency in English and Dutch
- Less than 2 years work experience
- And last but not least, humor, enthusiasm and having fun is very important (it’s in our Pon DNA)!

Application process and instructions
We welcome applications between September 22rd and October 15rd 2023. The first step of the application process requires uploading your resume without a picture. Shortly after uploading your resume you will receive an email with further instructions about your pre-assessment and your video interview, as well as detailed information concerning the rest of the process.
You will have to complete all these components October 15th, the latest, so make sure to upload your resume a few days before the deadline, to build in enough time to make the pre-assessment.

Our selection procedure consists of 5 steps:
- Apply and pre-assessment: September 22 - October 15
- Assessment: October 19 - October 23
- Interviews (live): October 30, 31 and November 1, 2, 3
- The Game is (P)on (live): November 8
- Final Selection Days (live): November 14 or 15
We kindly ask you to block the dates of the selection procedure in your calendar as we want to ensure a short and smooth selection process. Please note that if you accept a job offer within Pon, you may start at any moment between February - April 2024.
