You will be invited to a first-round stage of interviews and, if successful, you will attend an assessment centre which includes a tour of the offices, Q&A with Morgan Stanley technologists, technical interview, problem-solving exercise and group exercise. If we then feel a career at Morgan Stanley is right for you, you will be given the opportunity to join the Programme.
The Technology Graduate Training Programme (Technology Analyst Programme) is designed to develop highly skilled and motivated technologists who partner with our businesses to solve complex problems through the use of technology.
The programme is held twice a year, in February and August and the curriculum includes intensive technology training, orientation to Morgan Stanley, an overview of the securities industry, exposure to senior managers, professional skills workshops and a project addressing real business needs. Trainees develop a strong network of colleagues during the programme and build lasting relationships.
The Technology Training Programme offers a unique approach to placement into roles whereby trainees meet with managers throughout the Programme to learn about available roles. Their preferences are then weighed along with the preferences of hiring managers and business priorities. The broad and comprehensive skills acquired during the programme allow trainees to be placed in challenging roles throughout IT — such as business application development, application infrastructure development and enterprise engineering.
