Test Automation Developer

Job Summary

As a Software Engineer you will focus primarily on providing high quality efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity you will code configure test debug document and maintain applications.

Responsibilities

We are seeking passionate and skilled Software Engineers to join our Technology Integration Platforms BSA team. In this role you will play a pivotal part in developing and maintaining robust test automation suites to ensure comprehensive test case coverage for the Nationwide Partnership Portal (developer.nationwide.com). Your work will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, functionality and performance of the portal, empowering seamless integration experiences for our partners. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge technology solutions in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong communication between people’s interaction and self-leadership skills
• Experience developing and executing test plans
• Capability to create and provide “Show & Tells” to business partners
• Proven ability to document and share knowledge effectively (knowledge management)
• Technology depth and experience in testing and supporting APIs web components and Event Streams SPAs
• Experience with web performance optimization and security best practices
• Prior experience in test automation development for developer portals is a plus
• Precision in creating test cases and analyzing results to ensure high-quality code.
• Ability to work closely with developers QA teams and product managers in an Agile environment.

Must Haves:Cypress, Ruby, Typescript, Experience using Postman, Github Actions, Manual Testing of Web UIs and experience with Git JMeter
