Senior Splunk Engineer

We are currently seeking a skilled Splunk Developer or Linux Developer who possesses a keen interest in expanding their expertise to encompass Splunk technologies. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to delve into the dynamic realm of Splunk development while leveraging their existing proficiency in Linux environments. Join our team and embark on a rewarding journey of learning and growth within the realm of data analytics and infrastructure management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Building use cases and dashboards in Splunk for our clients
- Spearheading maintenance and change management strategies for the Splunk environment.
- Overseeing incident and problem resolution processes within the Splunk infrastructure.
- Leading the onboarding process for new data sources, ensuring seamless integration.
- Designing and implementing advanced use cases and intricate dashboards in Splunk to cater to clients' sophisticated requirements.
- Directing the monitoring efforts and providing comprehensive reports on the performance metrics of the Splunk environment.
Qualifications:
- Extensive 5-7 years of experience as a seasoned Splunk engineer in enterprise infrastructure management, with a minimum of 3 years in Linux environments.
- Advanced expertise in Splunk dashboard creation and complex use case development.
- Exceptional communication abilities, including adeptness in delivering impactful presentations, influencing stakeholders, and leading transformative initiatives.
- Proficiency in simplifying intricate technical concepts and prioritizing issues effectively.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience of 8 years in enterprise environments.
- Previous leadership experience in managing Splunk Enterprise Security and/or Splunk IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Firewalls, Loadbalancers and other infrastructural concepts.
