S&OP Coordinator

In the mix of people, processes and systems, it is critical to develop and nurture strong communication networks that ensure transparency between manufacturing plants, affiliates and planning centers for all supply chain related considerations. The master scheduling team is an important radar in the Abbott Logistics Nutrition Organization. The team is responsible for planning the production (3,5 billion USD) in the ‘international’ factories of Abbott Nutrition, of which four are based in Europe, one in Singapore, one in India and one in China (the latter two are directly planned in the Asia region). The master schedule is based on the demand planning of 60-80 affiliates.

The S&OP Coordinator will be responsible for consolidating all inputs from our monthly planning cycle and driving the necessary discussions during the monthly S&OP meetings. This role requires a strong combination of data analytics and business acumen to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights for executive-level decision-making. The ideal candidate will be able to translate business objectives—such as sales targets, budgets, cost controls, and inventory levels—into effective planning strategies, and vice versa. Our overarching goal is to support the continued growth of sales, margin, and market share for our commercial affiliates by leveraging our manufacturing network in the most optimal way. In addition, the S&OP Coordinator will play a key role in delivering Continuous Improvement initiatives within the Master Scheduling Team, either by leading or actively participating in relevant projects.

Requirements

Education and Skills

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree in:
  • Supply Chain Management
  • Production Operations Management
  • Logistics Management
• Skills:
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills required, Dutch oral and written skills are preferred
  • Knowledge of SAP Advanced Planning Systems preferred
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics (data warehousing, PowerBI, trend analysis)

Experience

• At least 5 years experience in Logistics/and or Supply Chain Management
