The traineeship
Working in IT in Shell is about aligning business operations and IT. The emphasis of our IT roles is not on technology itself, but more on its application to corporate processes. In short: translating business opportunities into IT solutions.
Our three-year IT Graduate Development programme gives candidates the opportunity to become experts in a broad range of IT areas and develop their IT competences to a high level. Right from day one, our IT Graduates are responsible and accountable for significant deliverables and work within diverse teams.

The profile
Shell's prestigious IT graduate programme particularly suits graduates of Business Information Management, Business Information Technology, Information Management, Management of Technology, Information & Knowledge Management, Business Information Systems any other IT-related study, or those with a business degree with IT exposure.
While an academic background is important to us, it's not our main consideration. To enable graduates to thrive in a dynamic and innovative organisation such as Shell, our rigorous and challenging selection process is designed to assess the qualities of Capacity, Achievement and Relationship (CAR).
