Description

The European Financial Leadership Seminar (EFS) is a 5-day working session that was established in 1990. The 21^st edition of the annual seminar will be held from May 1^st to 5^th 2011 at the P&G European headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland. Travel and accommodation expenses for all participants will be paid by P&G.

During these five days, you and other excellent students from around the world will run a multi-national business, developing your management and financial skills by working in teams and interacting with experienced P&G executives. The EFS is an outstanding opportunity to learn about the P&G culture.

The EFS will expose you to a real-life business case study, which challenges you to develop strategies and drive decisions together with top students from all over the EMEA region.

My name is Carlien Crol and I was one of the participants of the EFS 2010. I am Dutch, living in Brussels and last October I started with P&G as a financial analyst.

The first question you probably have is: ‘Why should I apply for the EFS?’

Well, if you are interested in working in an international and multicultural environment, and if you like to impact the daily lives of millions of people, my response would be: ‘Why not?!  Apply to EFS 2011!’

During the EFS you will experience what working in Finance at Procter & Gamble really means. Together with your international colleagues you will solve a real life business case in which you will get acquainted with the open, honest and energetic culture of Procter & Gamble as well as the challenges of working in the FMCG industry.

At night, it is time for fun activities! Varying from getting to know your fellow students, to having dinner with senior management and discovering Geneva’s nightlife.

I very much enjoy my job with P&G, where I get to know Spanish, French, Costa Rican, Bulgarian and Polish people in the office, and experience the Belgium dinner culture and their parking habits!
